Medicolegal Consultant Psychiatrist

We are seeking a Consultant Psychiatrist on the Specialist Register to undertake medicolegal assessments across the UK. Opportunities are available both onsite and remotely, offering flexibility for consultants seeking ad hoc work or long-term arrangements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough medicolegal psychiatric assessments for a range of cases.

• Prepare detailed, professional reports suitable for legal and clinical purposes.

• Ensure assessments comply with relevant legal, ethical, and professional standards.

• Liaise with solicitors, insurance providers, and other stakeholders as required.

Requirements:

• Fully qualified Consultant Psychiatrist on the Specialist Register.

• Proven experience in medicolegal assessments.

• Excellent report-writing and communication skills.

• Flexibility to undertake onsite or remote assignments nationwide.
