As a Porter – Driver, you will play an essential role in supporting the smooth operation of the healthcare facility. You will be responsible for transporting patients, staff, equipment, and supplies within the hospital and to external locations as needed. You will provide a safe, efficient, and professional service, ensuring the highest standards of care and customer service at all times.

Key Responsibilities:

• Safely transport patients, staff, medical supplies, and equipment to various departments and locations within the healthcare facility.
• Drive hospital vehicles to external locations for patient transfers or deliveries as required.
• Assist with the delivery and collection of medical records, equipment, and other essential items.
• Ensure that all vehicles are maintained to a high standard, including regular checks on cleanliness, safety, and functionality.
• Support patients by assisting them with mobility, providing a high level of care and attention.
• Help with the movement of heavy equipment and materials, ensuring safety and compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Respond promptly to requests for transport services, ensuring timely and efficient delivery.
• Assist with general portering duties, including maintaining cleanliness and tidiness within the facility.

Key Requirements:

• Full, clean UK driving license with experience driving larger vehicles or vans.
