Locum Consultant – Two Community General Adult Psychiatry

We are looking for a dedicated and skilled Locum Consultants in Community General Adult Psychiatry to join a lovely team in Wales on a 12-24 months (37.5 hours per week, 10 sessions). This is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to community-based mental health services, providing expert care to adults experiencing mental health challenges.

Key Details:

• Provide comprehensive psychiatric assessment and diagnosis for adults with general mental health conditions.
• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans, integrating pharmacological, therapeutic, and psychosocial interventions.
• Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams, including social workers, nurses, psychologists, and occupational therapists.
• Provide leadership, mentoring, and supervision to junior staff and trainees.
• Must have a GMC registration with a license to practice.
• Must have a specialist Registration in Psychiatry (or eligible to apply).
• Significant experience in General Adult Psychiatry, particularly in community settings.
