Clinical Pharmacist – North London

Are you a registered pharmacist looking to take on a new challenge and advance your career in emergency care? Our client, a well-established healthcare provider in North London, is seeking an experienced pharmacist to join their team as an Advanced Pharmacist Practitioner specializing.

In this pivotal role, you will provide expert clinical pharmacy services to patients presenting in A&E, working closely with the multidisciplinary team to optimise medication use and patient outcomes. You will have the opportunity to develop and expand the emergency care pharmacy service, while also mentoring junior pharmacists rotating through the department.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough medical assessments, including taking patient histories and performing physical examinations.
• Salary – DOE
• Analyze test results and make accurate diagnoses
• Prescribe and administer appropriate treatments and medications
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records.
• Undertake home visits to provide personalized care to patients
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care
• Demonstrate flexibility and adaptability in a dynamic work environment
• Provide compassionate and patient-centred care, prioritising the well-being of patients

Requirements:

• Registered with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC)
• Holds a degree or master’s level qualification in Pharmacy (MPharm/BPharm or equivalent)
