Counselling Psychologist – Newcastle

Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments – This includes assessing clients’ mental health conditions, such as PTSD, anxiety, depression, and substance abuse.
• Develop treatment plans – Based on the assessment, you will develop individualized treatment plans to address the client’s specific needs.
• Provide therapy – You will provide therapy sessions to help clients work through their issues and develop coping skills.
• Document progress – You will document the client’s progress in their treatment, including any changes in symptoms or behaviors.
• Collaborate with other professionals – You may need to collaborate with other professionals, such as psychiatrists, social workers, and primary care physicians, to provide comprehensive care for your clients.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 3 years‘ experience in conducting assessments as a Counselling Psychologist.
• HCPC Registration.
