Counter Assistant/Apprentice – Gloucester

We are seeking a friendly and reliable Counter Assistant/Apprentice to join a pharmacy team in Gloucester. This flexible role offers 4 or 5 full working days (Monday to Friday) and is ideal for someone with a passion for customer service and ideally a school leaver.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide excellent customer service and assist with counter sales.
• Handle customer inquiries, provide product information, and offer advice.
• Process transactions accurately and efficiently using the till system.
• Stock and organize shelves and counters, ensuring products are neatly displayed.
• Assist in inventory management, including stock rotation and restocking.
• Ensure a clean and tidy counter area, maintaining high standards of hygiene.

Requirements:

• Previous retail or customer service experience is preferred.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• A friendly, professional attitude and ability to work as part of a team.
• Basic numeracy skills for handling transactions and stock management.
