Locum Consultant – Haematology (Special Interest in Myeloma & General Haematology)

We are seeking two highly skilled Locum Consultants in Haematology, with a special interest in Myeloma and General Haematology, to join an expert team in Wales. This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a forward-thinking department, providing outstanding care to patients with a wide range of haematological conditions, with a focus on myeloma and general haematology.

As a locum consultant, you will play a key role in diagnosing and managing patients with complex haematological disorders, offering expert treatment options, and providing leadership and guidance within the department. You will work alongside multidisciplinary teams to provide high-quality care and make a significant impact on patient outcomes. You will be able to cover 12-24 months (37.5 hours per week, 10 sessions).

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide expert haematological care, with a special focus on myeloma and general haematology.
• Diagnose, treat, and manage patients with a wide range of haematological disorders, including malignant and benign conditions.
• Develop and implement individualised treatment plans, including chemotherapy, supportive care, and follow-up care.
• Lead multidisciplinary teams in providing comprehensive patient care.
• Participate in the development and delivery of clinical services, including research and audits.

Essential Qualifications & Experience:

• GMC registration with a license to practice.
• Specialist Registration in Haematology (or eligible to apply).
• Significant experience in Haematology, with a focus on Myeloma and General Haematology.
