General Practitioner – North London

Our client, a well-established GP practice in North London, is seeking a dedicated Locum GP to join their supportive clinical team. In this role, you will have the opportunity to make a positive impact on the health and well-being of patients in the local community. The practice boasts a friendly and collaborative team of clinicians, including 6 GP partners, 6 salaried GPs, and a large nursing team.

As a Locum GP, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality NHS general medical services to patients on the practice list. This includes providing routine and urgent same-day appointments, ensuring patients receive the care they need in a timely manner.

Responsibilities

• Conduct face-to-face appointments with patients
• Perform telephone triage to assess patient needs
• Cover duty days as required by the practice
• Carry out home visits when necessary
• Offer telephone appointments for patient convenience
• Complete all necessary documentation related to patient care, including referral letters, medical reports, and sickness certification
