Locum GP – Wales

Our client, a well-established GP practice in Wales, is seeking a skilled Locum GP to join their dedicated team. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated GP to make a positive impact on patient care while working in a supportive and collaborative environment. This forward-thinking GP practice is dedicated to providing exceptional healthcare services to the local community.

As a Locum GP, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality primary care services to patients at the practice and the nearby community hospital. You will work alongside a diverse team of healthcare professionals, including practice nurses, ANPs, paramedics, physiotherapists, and specialist nurses, to deliver comprehensive care to the local community.

Responsibilities

• Conduct surgery consultations, telephone consultations, and home visits
• Review and sign repeat prescriptions, dealing with queries in a timely manner
• Cover shifts at the local Community Hospital Ward and Minor Injuries Unit
• Participate in the on-call duty doctor rota for urgent care
• Make autonomous decisions regarding patient care and treatment plans
