Pharmacist – Norwich

We are looking for a Pharmacist to join a busy and welcoming pharmacy team in Norwich. This is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate to build a career in community pharmacy, working in a dynamic and patient-centered environment. You will be responsible for providing expert medication advice, improving patient health outcomes, and delivering exceptional customer service. This role requires Saturday shifts, offering a diverse working week while enabling you to gain valuable experience and develop your professional skills.

Key responsibilities: 

• Accurately and efficiently dispense medications in line with legal, ethical, and safety standards.
• Offer expert advice on the safe and effective use of prescription medications and over-the-counter products.
• Conduct MURs and New Medicine Service (NMS) consultations to improve patient medication adherence and health outcomes.
• Provide clinical guidance and support to pharmacy colleagues, assistants, and technicians to ensure high-quality service.
• Ensure the pharmacy runs smoothly by maintaining stock levels, managing inventory, and handling administrative duties.
• Deliver excellent customer service, building trusting relationships with patients and the wider community.
• Engage with the local community to promote public health campaigns, wellness programs, and preventative health services.
• Stay current with pharmacy guidelines, regulations, and best practices to deliver the highest standard of care.
• Assist in the training and development of pharmacy assistants and technicians.
• Work closely with healthcare providers to ensure comprehensive patient care and improve health outcomes.

Requirements:

• Qualifications: MPharm degree and successful completion of the pre-registration year.
• Registration: Registered with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC).
