Pharmacist – Derby

We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated pharmacist to join a vibrant pharmacy team in Derby. This is a fantastic opportunity to build your clinical and leadership skills in a fast-paced community pharmacy, providing excellent patient care while working in a supportive environment. The role involves 40 hours per week, including alternate weekend shifts.

Key Responsibilities:

• Accurately dispense medications and ensure compliance with legal and professional standards.
• Provide expert advice on the safe use of medications and over-the-counter products.
• Conduct Medicines Use Reviews (MURs) and New Medicine Service (NMS) consultations.
• Offer clinical support to pharmacy staff and healthcare colleagues.
• Ensure smooth pharmacy operations, including stock management and administrative tasks.
• Provide excellent customer service and develop strong relationships with patients.
• Promote health and well-being through public health initiatives and advice.
• Stay up to date with current pharmacy guidelines and regulations.
• Assist in the training and supervision of pharmacy assistants and technicians.
• Work collaboratively with local healthcare providers to enhance patient care.

Requirements:

• MPharm degree and successful completion of the pre-registration year.
• Registration with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC).
