Physiotherapist

An opportunity has arisen for a Primary Care Physiotherapist to join a friendly GP practice team on a fixed-term basis from January 2026 to March 2026. This role is ideal for an experienced physiotherapist who enjoys working autonomously in primary care and supporting patients at the first point of contact.

You will be based in a primary care setting, working across three set days each week and using SystmOne to document and manage clinical activity. The post is well suited to someone confident in managing a varied musculoskeletal and primary care caseload.

Key responsibilities

• Assess, triage and manage patients presenting with musculoskeletal and other primary care conditions

• Provide evidence-based physiotherapy interventions and self-management advice

• Work autonomously while contributing to a wider multidisciplinary team within primary care

• Maintain accurate and timely clinical records on SystmOne

• Support continuity of care and promote patient-centred, holistic management

About you

• Qualified Physiotherapist with current HCPC registration

• Prior experience in the UK is essential

• Proven experience working in a primary care or GP practice environment is essential

• Confident managing a broad MSK and primary care caseload independently

• Strong communication skills and a collaborative approach to team working
