Psychiatrist – Midlands

We are working with a leading healthcare provider based in the surrounding areas of Midlands, dedicated to offering high-quality mental health services to individuals in need. Their team of compassionate professionals works together to provide effective care, aiming to make a positive impact on the lives of our patients. We are currently seeking a qualified Psychiatrist to join their dynamic team and contribute to the continued success of our services.

As a Psychiatrist, you will assess, diagnose, and treat individuals with mental health disorders, working closely with a multidisciplinary team to create personalized care plans. You will play a key role in ensuring the well-being of patients and supporting their recovery journey.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct psychiatric assessments and diagnose mental health conditions.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
• Prescribe medications and manage ongoing medication reviews.
• Provide therapeutic interventions and support for patients with complex psychiatric conditions.
• Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals, including psychologists, nurses, and social workers.
• Participate in case discussions and multidisciplinary meetings.
• Provide expert advice and guidance to junior staff and other healthcare providers.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records in compliance with legal and ethical standards.
• Stay up-to-date with developments in psychiatric treatments and best practices.

Requirements:

• Medical degree and full registration with the General Medical Council (GMC).
• Completion of psychiatric training and holding a CCT in Psychiatry (or equivalent).
