Registered Veterinary Nurse – Byfleet

We’re excited to offer a fantastic opportunity for a Registered Veterinary Nurse at a well-established practice in Chobham, Surrey. This charming clinic is equipped with cutting-edge technology, including a dental suite with CR7 dental radiography, a new X-ray machine, ultrasound, a fully equipped theatre, and in-house laboratory services.

As an RVN, you will be responsible for a range of nursing duties, from assisting in surgeries and procedures to performing nurse-led consultations and schedule 3 procedures. Your role will also involve monitoring patient health, managing admissions and discharges, and ensuring smooth clinic operations alongside the Veterinary team. You will have the opportunity to work in a collaborative environment and develop your skills while providing exceptional care.

Details:

• Deliver outstanding care and attention to both patients and clients.
• Assist with surgeries and procedures, ensuring all pre- and post-procedure tasks are carried out.
• Conduct nurse-led consultations and perform schedule 3 procedures.
• Provide patient monitoring and care throughout their visit.
• Manage patient admissions and discharges under the guidance of the Veterinary team.
• Ensure smooth transfers of patients to out-of-hours or enhanced care services when required.
• Accurately dispense and check medications.
• Maintain professional excellence and adhere to all operational and regulatory standards.
• Lead team briefings to ensure the effective running of the practice.

About You:

• You are an RCVS registered Veterinary Nurse.
