Veterinary Nurse – Cheshire

We are currently seeking a skilled veterinary nurse to join a lovely practice in Cheshire. They provide high quality care to their patients in a supportive and friendly environment. They are a well-established vet practice with a strong commitment to animal health and welfare. In this role, you will assist in delivering excellent clinical care to a wide variety of animals while ensuring a comfortable and positive experience for their owners. Key Responsibilities:

• Provide nursing care for animals during their stay, including post-operative recovery, monitoring vital signs, and administering medications as prescribed by the veterinary team.
• Assist with diagnostic procedures, radiographs, blood tests, and laboratory work.
• Perform routine nursing duties such as wound care, bandaging, and administering vaccines.
• Prepare and assist with surgeries, including anesthetic monitoring.
• Offer client education on pet care, health maintenance, and disease prevention.

Essential Skills & Experience:

• Qualified Veterinary Nurse (RVN or equivalent).
• Previous experience in a veterinary practice preferred, but not essential.
