Veterinary Surgeon – Colchester

ProfDoc are current working with a lovely vet in Colchester who are currently seeking a skilled and compassionate veterinary Surgeon to join their dedicated team.

As a Veterinary Surgeon, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality veterinary care to our clients and their pets. You will be responsible for diagnosing and treating medical conditions, performing surgeries, and offering advice on preventative care. This is an exciting opportunity to work alongside a team of experienced professionals in a supportive and friendly environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Diagnose and treat a wide range of medical conditions in animals
• Perform routine and advanced surgeries, including soft tissue and orthopaedic procedures
• Provide emergency care and support during critical situations
• Communicate clearly and compassionately with pet owners, explaining treatment options and providing advice
• Manage and maintain accurate patient records
• Work collaboratively with a team of veterinary professionals, including nurses and support staff
• Stay updated with the latest veterinary practices and developments

About You:

We are looking for a passionate and experienced Veterinary Surgeon who is dedicated to providing the highest standard of care. The ideal candidate will have:

• A veterinary degree (MRCVS or equivalent)
• Proven experience in veterinary surgery and general practice
