Are you an experienced Veterinary Surgeon looking for a full or part-time opportunity? Our client, an established veterinary practice in South London, is seeking an additional vet to join their supportive and inclusive team. The practice is located with excellent transport links into London and the South Coast.

About Us

• Independently owned practice with a friendly, collaborative team
• Stable team: 4 vets, 5 RVNs, 1 SVN, 1 ACA, and 6 receptionists
• Excellent local reputation for high-quality patient care and strong client relationships
• Part of the Practice Standards Scheme and a training practice for Veterinary Nurses

About You

• Minimum 3 years’ experience as a veterinary surgeon
• Confident with 15-minute appointments, routine consultations, and surgeries
• Enjoys mentoring colleagues and students
• Eager to keep learning and developing skills

About The Role

• Full-time (4-day week) or part-time options available
• No on-call during weekdays
• 1:4 weekend rota with the following Monday and Tuesday off
• Inpatient care rota (OOH provider handles critical patients)
• Bank holidays for inpatient care only
• Admin time built into the schedule
• Mix of consulting and surgery with clinical freedom
• Flexible start and finish times

Benefits & Compensation

• Salary: £40,000 – £60,000 (pro-rata based on experience)
• Uncapped CPD allowance with up to 5 days for attendance
• Opportunity for postgraduate qualifications

• 28 days annual leave

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree (preferred)
• Minimum 3 years of veterinary experience
• RCVS certification
