Senior Clinical Pharmacist – Nottingham

We are seeking a Senior Clinical Pharmacist to join a Urgent and Emergency Care (UEC) and Same Day Emergency Care (SDEC) teams. You will deliver high-quality medicine optimisation, ideally utilising prescribing skills, and work closely with the multidisciplinary team (MDT).

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide clinical pharmacy services to the UEC directorate and wider Medicine Division.
• Participate in ward rounds, focusing on medicines optimisation, antimicrobial stewardship, and discharge planning.
• Line manage a Band 6 pharmacist, mentoring and supporting their development.
• Support education, training, and quality improvement projects.
• Participate in the senior on-call rota.

Essential Requirements:

• Registered with the GPhC.
• Post-graduate diploma/MSc in clinical pharmacy (or working towards this).
• B.Pharm/BSc (Pharmacy) or MPharm.
• Experience in urgent and emergency care settings is desirable.
