Orthopaedic Consultant

An exciting opportunity for an Orthopaedic Consultant has opened up in Scotland.

This highly flexible role enables one to contribute specialist insights to GP-referred patients, manage complex casework virtually, and shape the future of outpatient care—all with the autonomy to choose preferred working hours and days.

About the Position:

• £150 per hour (D.O.E.)
• Ideal candidate must be on Specialist Register
• Should be registered with the GMC with an active licence to practice
• Provide virtual orthopaedic care and clinical oversight to NHS patients
• Review referrals, guide investigations, and generate onward hospital referrals
• Create personalised management plans, including prescriptions when necessary
• Document interactions securely via dedicated digital platforms
• Flexible start date available
