Prison Locum GP

A well-established healthcare provider delivering services within a secure setting near Crawley is seeking a Prison Cleared Locum GP to join their multidisciplinary team on an ongoing basis. 

Key details:

• 3 days per week
• Ongoing contract
• £105 per hour
• Secure healthcare setting near Crawley

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver comprehensive primary care clinics within a secure environment
• Assess, diagnose, and manage a wide range of acute and chronic health conditions
• Work collaboratively with nurses, mental health professionals, and other healthcare practitioners
• Contribute to safeguarding, health promotion, and preventative healthcare initiatives
• Participate in multidisciplinary team (MDT) meetings and clinical discussions
• Maintain accurate clinical records and adhere to relevant healthcare standards

Requirements

• GMC registration with a licence to practise
• Valid prison clearance (essential)
• Experience within urgent care, primary care, or secure healthcare settings is desirable
• Strong communication and multidisciplinary working skills
