Associate Director of Clinical Services – Interim role for 9 to 12 Months

We are working with a hospital who are seeking n experienced Associate Director of Clinical Services to join their Senior Management Team. In this interim role, you’ll drive quality and clinical excellence across a diverse range of inpatient services. You’ll oversee performance standards, lead quality initiatives, ensure compliance with regulations, and foster continuous improvement. The role requires clinical leadership, governance oversight, and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities:

• Lead quality and clinical care across the hospital, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
• Oversee clinical governance and risk management, facilitating audits and reviews.
• Provide clinical leadership and develop quality strategies for the site.
• Support investigations and incident reporting, promoting a safety culture.
• Monitor patient experience and manage regulatory inspections.
• Lead on-site quality improvement plans and manage the quality administrator.

Requirements:

• Registered with NMC or HCPC
• Proven leadership in quality and risk management
• Experience in health/social care at a managerial level
