Locum Prison GP

We are inviting applications from experienced Prison Cleared Locum GPs to deliver primary care within a secure healthcare service in Southampton. This unique position offers the chance to provide vital front‑line medical support to patients with diverse health and wellbeing challenges, in a well‑structured and collaborative setting. Key Details:

• £100 per hour
• 3 days per week
• Undertake varied primary care clinics across physical and mental health needs
• Liaise closely with nursing, pharmacy, and substance misuse teams
• Engage in MDTs and safeguarding initiatives
• Provide continuity and quality of care to all patients

Requirements:

• GMC Registered GP with full licence to practise
• Prison clearance (mandatory)
• Previous experience in secure, out‑of‑hours, or community care desirable
