Prison GP job in Leeds

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a dedicated and adaptable Prison‑Cleared Locum GP to join the healthcare team within a secure facility in Leeds. This role offers the chance to deliver meaningful, high‑quality primary care to a diverse patient population with complex physical, mental health, and substance misuse needs. Key Information:

• £100 per hour (via Umbrella)
• Prison‑Cleared
• 3 days per week
• Ongoing Contract
• Provide holistic, patient‑focused primary care clinics
• Carry out segregation rounds and handle related documentation
• Work collaboratively with nursing, mental health, and substance misuse teams
• Participate in MDT meetings to ensure coordinated and safe care
• Support wider health promotion, education, and safeguarding initiatives

Requirements:

• Full GMC registration with a licence to practise
• Current prison clearance (essential)
• Prior experience in secure, out‑of‑hours, or urgent care environments is advantageous
