Location: Scotland
Schedule: Weekends, 08:30 AM – 05:00 PM
Rate: £500 per day (plus accommodation available if required)

We are seeking skilled Optometrists to deliver cataract pre-assessment clinics in Scotland. This service supports adult patients preparing for cataract surgery and ensures a seamless patient journey from assessment to treatment.

Clinic Details:

• Weekends, 08:30 AM – 05:00 PM
• Adult-only clinics
• £500 per day per optometrist
• Accommodation available via Synaptik’s corporate account

Working Environment:
You’ll work alongside experienced local nurses, who provide continuity and support with NTC knowledge. Nurses will assist with:

• Biometry
• Patient history taking
• Dilation and intraocular pressure checks

Optometrist Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive cataract pre-assessments
• Dictate clinic letters and document findings
• Refer patients for cataract procedures (including bilateral cases if appropriate) or to alternative pathways (e.g. glaucoma)
• Obtain patient consent for cataract surgery during the pre-assessment clinic
