Gastrointestinal Physiologist

We’re seeking an experienced Gastrointestinal Physiologist to join a well‑established GI Physiology department in Birmingham. The service provides a full range of diagnostic investigations within modern, well‑equipped facilities and a supportive clinical environment. 

Key Benefits:

• £110-£150 per hour
• Predominantly midweek sessions
• Optional weekend work available
• Accommodation provided if required
• Supportive clinical team and modern facilities

Core GI Duties:

• Oesophageal Manometry
• 24-Hour pH Monitoring
• Ano-Rectal Manometry
• Hydrogen Breath Testing
• Endo-Anal Ultrasound
• Pelvic Floor Biofeedback
• Primarily adult patients
• Small paediatric caseload (approximately 5-10 patients per year)

Requirements:

• HCPC registered
• On the Specialist Register
• Proven experience delivering a full range of GI physiology investigations
