Pharmacy Technician

A great opportunity has arisen for a Pharmacy Technician to join a friendly pharmacy team near Dorchester. This permanent position offers a competitive salary of £30,000 per year and the chance to develop your skills in a supportive environment.

You will play a key role in delivering safe, efficient and patient-centred pharmacy services, working closely with pharmacists and wider healthcare colleagues. The role is ideal for a motivated technician who enjoys working accurately and proactively in a busy setting.

Key responsibilities

• Support the safe and accurate dispensing of medicines
• Provide advice and support to patients on the use of medicines
• Assist with stock control, ordering and inventory management
• Work closely with pharmacists and other healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality care
• Maintain accurate records and follow all relevant policies and procedures

About you

• Qualified Pharmacy Technician with appropriate registration
• Previous experience in a community or hospital pharmacy
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to patient safety
• Good communication and teamwork skills
