Locum (Prison) GP – London

Are you an experienced GP with a background in custodial healthcare? We are seeking a dedicated Prison GP to join a multidisciplinary healthcare team at a secure facility in Hampshire.

Key responsibilities:

• Diagnose and manage acute and chronic conditions.
• Provide ongoing care for conditions such as diabetes, hypertension and COPD.
• Assess and stabilise patients during medical emergencies.
• Support vaccination, health education and wellbeing initiatives.
• Collaborate with prison staff, nurses, pharmacists and mental health professionals.

Requirements:

• Significant experience as a Prison GP or within a custodial or secure healthcare setting.
• Current NOMS clearance.
• Full GMC registration.
• Strong clinical decision-making skills.
