Child Psychiatrist (On-site or Remote Nationwide)

We are acting on behalf of our client in Cambridge to appoint a dynamic Child Psychiatrist for their hybrid assessment service. You will lead ASD and ADHD evaluations, review developmental and educational data, and produce detailed clinical reports that inform treatment and support decisions.

This role allows you to work on-site or remotely nationwide, with flexible scheduling supported by the client’s experienced administrative and clinical teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead ASD and ADHD assessments through a hybrid on-site and remote model.

• Collect, review, and synthesise developmental, educational, and behavioural information.

• Conduct structured clinical interviews with children, parents, and carers.

• Produce clear and detailed diagnostic reports guiding clinical and educational support.

• Work closely with MDTs and safeguarding leads as needed.

• Ensure compliance with clinical governance, professional standards, and NICE guidelines.

• Manage your schedule and caseload flexibly while delivering high-quality care.

Requirements

• GMC Specialist Registration – Child & Adolescent Psychiatry.

• Experience in ASD and ADHD assessments.

• Strong report-writing and clinical formulation skills.

• Comfortable working both on-site and remotely.

• Right to work in the UK
