Psychiatry Consultant

We are recruiting Psychiatry Consultants in Leeds to undertake structured medico-legal assessments for small-claim cases. You will deliver objective psychiatric evaluations and produce clear, evidence-based reports to support legal and insurance workflows. The role incorporates both remote assessments and onsite clinics across West Yorkshire.

The position also includes:

• £250 per completed assessment

• A hybrid model allowing remote and in-clinic work

• Freedom to manage your own assessment schedule

• Consistent case volumes with standardised processes

• Administrative backing, templates and case handling

• A complete governance structure for quality assurance.

Responsibilities:

• Complete structured psychiatric assessments

• Produce detailed medico-legal reports

• Provide impartial, evidence-based opinions

Requirements:

• GMC Specialist Register

• Strong assessment and report-writing abilities
