Consultant Psychiatrist – Older Adults (Dementia & Eating Disorders)

We are recruiting a Consultant Psychiatrist in Older Adults to join a specialist inpatient service in Batley, supporting patients with dementia and functional mental health disorders.

This role is based on a 16 bed male ward (10 dementia beds, 6 functional disorders), working within a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality, patient-centred care. Many patients are detained under the Mental Health Act.

Requirements:

• CCT (or equivalent) in Older Adult Psychiatry, or General Adult Psychiatry with older adult experience
• GMC registration with licence to practise
• Eligibility to act as Responsible Clinician
