Consultant Psychiatrist (CAMHS)

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Consultant Psychiatrist CAMHS to join a specialist mental health service in Great Waltham on a full-time basis. This role is ideal for an experienced CAMHS Consultant who is passionate about delivering high-quality care to children and young people with complex mental health needs, while contributing to a positive, forward-thinking clinical culture.

Responsibilities:

• Take overall clinical responsibility for a defined CAMHS caseload.
• Lead on specialist psychological assessment, formulation, and evidence-based interventions for children and adolescents with complex mental health presentations.
• Provide expert consultation, guidance, and leadership to the multidisciplinary team, supporting safe, effective, and person-centred care.
• Contribute to service development, clinical governance, and quality improvement initiatives.
