We are looking for a Consultant Psychiatrist EDU to join a specialist mental health service in Stockport. This is a full‑time consultant role offering strong clinical leadership opportunities for a psychiatrist passionate about supporting the mental health needs of children and young people in education linked settings.

Duties:

• Provide expert psychiatric assessment, diagnosis, and treatment for children and adolescents presenting with complex mental health difficulties.
• Work closely with the multidisciplinary team (MDT), schools, and education professionals to deliver coordinated, person‑centred care.
• Lead on formulation, risk management, and evidence‑based interventions within the EDU setting.
• Contribute to clinical governance, service development, and quality improvement initiatives.
