Part Time Consultant Psychologist

We are seeking an experienced Consultant Clinical Psychologist or Consultant Counselling Psychologist to join a dynamic and respected private mental health service in Leeds. You will join a dedicated multidisciplinary team who are passionate about delivering person‑centred care and empowering patients to move forward with confidence. As a Consultant Psychologist, you will play a key role in each patient’s recovery carrying out assessments, developing tailored treatment plans, and leading therapeutic interventions that promote wellbeing, dignity, and progress. Responsibilities:

• Conduct psychological assessments for new referrals and create tailored therapy plans.
• Deliver individual and group therapy sessions using evidence‑based approaches.
• Manage a caseload of adult clients, maintaining reviews and clear communication.
• Provide clinical input and supervision within the multidisciplinary team.
• Maintain accurate patient records and reports in line with clinical standards.
• Contribute to audits, research, and service improvement initiatives.

Requirements:

• HCPC‑registered Practitioner Psychologist (Clinical or Counselling).
• Proven experience working in adult mental health within outpatient, inpatient, or private settings.
• Strong communication, formulation, and therapeutic delivery skills.
• Effective teamwork and a proactive approach to service excellence.
• Commitment to ongoing professional learning and patient‑centred care.
