We are seeking a full-time Psychologist to join an established adult mental health service in Birmingham, working within a supportive, well structured multidisciplinary team. In this role, you will have the opportunity to deliver a varied caseload of evidence based therapies, including CBT, DBT-informed interventions, ACT, and Schema Therapy, to adults presenting with a range of complex mental health needs. You will play a key role in clinical formulation, care planning, and risk management, while working closely with colleagues across psychiatry, nursing, and allied health to deliver safe, high-quality, person-centred care. This post is ideal for a Psychologist who enjoys a balance of direct clinical work, report writing, and active involvement in service improvement and MDT decision-making.

Requirements

  • Chartered Psychologist with current HCPC registration.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver individual and group interventions using CBT, DBT-informed therapy, ACT, and Schema Therapy.
  • Complete psychological assessments and produce high-quality, timely psychological reports.
  • Contribute to care planning and risk management within the MDT.
  • Participate in clinical reviews, handovers, and multidisciplinary meetings.
  • Support service development, audit, and quality improvement where appropriate.
