Salaried GP

Our client is one of the largest NHS primary care providers in England, caring for a diverse patient population of over 75,000 across South London. Formed through the merger of established local practices, the organisation combines the resources of a large provider with the close knit, collaborative feel of site-based teams.

They are now recruiting permanent salaried GPs across multiple sites, all well served by South London Underground stations.

 Key details

• 4-6 Sessions per week
• 16 appointments per session
• 3 personal follow-ups per session
• Mix of face to face and telephone
• 1 hour protected admin time per session
• Capped admin workload with GP Assistant support
•  Share of duty sessions and clinical admin/prescribing (capped)
• Minimal home visits, covered by an established paramedic visiting team
• Protected weekly CPD session for GPs working 6-7 sessions

• Large, well-established MDT including Nurses, Physician Associates, Paramedics, ANPs and Pharmacists
• Recognised training practice with dedicated mentorship for newly qualified GPs
• Weekly team meetings covering clinical cases, learning events and organisational updates
• PCN-connected leadership, two of the practice’s GP Partners serve as PCN Clinical Directors

Requirements:

• Full GMC registration
• Current UK professional registration
• Enhanced DBS check (post subject to the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (Exceptions Order) 1975)
