Veterinary Nurse – Richmond

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in delivering high-quality nursing care to both inpatients and outpatients, including monitoring vital signs and administering treatments
• Prepare for and assist during surgical procedures, ensuring patient safety and comfort throughout
• Perform diagnostic tests such as blood samples, urine analysis, and x-rays, contributing to accurate and timely diagnoses.​
• Educate and support pet owners on various aspects of animal health, including preventive care, nutrition, and post-operative recovery.
• Participate in inventory management, maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards, and contribute to the smooth operation of the practice

We are seeking a qualified RVN who is passionate about animal welfare and client care. The ideal candidate will possess:

• A valid veterinary nursing diploma or certificate, or a bachelor’s degree in veterinary science or a related field.
• Previous experience in a veterinary nursing role is preferred but not essential; new graduates are welcome to apply.​
• Excellent communication, organizational, and multitasking abilities.​
• A compassionate approach to animal care, a proactive attitude, and the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
