Prison GP Locum (Long term)

We are seeking an experienced Prison Cleared GP to join a secure healthcare team at Altcourse. This is a rewarding opportunity to deliver primary care within a structured prison environment, supporting patients with a wide range of physical and mental health needs.

Key Details:

• £100 per hour
• 3 days per week
• Varied primary care clinics
• MDT working with nursing, pharmacy, and substance misuse teams
• Focus on continuity, safeguarding, and quality care

Requirements:

• GMC registered GP with full licence to practise
• Prison clearance mandatory
• Previous experience in secure, community, or out-of-hours care desirable
