Prison Locum GP

Join as Prison Locum GP at Featherstone secure healthcare service. This rewarding role offers the chance to deliver compassionate primary care within a well-supported prison environment focused on quality and patient safety.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct daily GP clinics in secure prison healthcare
• Manage acute presentations, chronic disease, and mental health
• Work closely with MDT (nursing, pharmacy, substance misuse)
• Ensure continuity of care and safeguarding compliance
• Contribute to clinical reviews and multidisciplinary working

Requirements:

• Prison clearance essential
• GMC registered GP
• Secure care, OOH, or community experience desirable
