Prison Locum GP

Prison GP role at Five Wells provide vital primary care within a modern secure healthcare service. Work alongside a structured multidisciplinary team supporting patients with complex health needs.

Key info:

• £700-800 per hour 
• Outside IR35
• 5 days per week

Responsibilities:

• Deliver comprehensive GP clinics across all healthcare needs
• Assess and manage diverse physical and mental health presentations
• Collaborate with nursing, pharmacy, and substance services
• Maintain high standards of continuity and patient safety
• Support safeguarding processes and MDT decision making

Requirements:

• Prison clearance mandatory
• Full GMC registration
• Experience in secure, community, or urgent care advantageous
