An excellent opportunity is available for a Clinical or Counselling Psychologist to join a respected private mental health and addiction rehabilitation service in Surrey, the role offers part time, with a full-time option.

You’ll provide evidence based psychological assessments and therapies for adults with complex mental health and addiction related needs, working within a supportive multidisciplinary team to promote recovery and positive patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments for adults with complex mental health needs
  • Develop evidence-based psychological formulations and personalised treatment plans
  • Deliver high-quality psychological therapies in individual and group settings
  • Apply CBT alongside additional therapeutic modalities suited to the patient group
  • Work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to provide recovery-focused, person-centred care
  • Review and evaluate treatment plans in line with patients’ changing needs

Requirements

  • HCPC registration as a Clinical or Counselling Psychologist
  • Minimum of five years’ post-registration experience
  • Training and experience in CBT
  • Training in at least two additional therapeutic modalities
  • At least one therapeutic intervention relevant to the patient group
  • Experience assessing and treating adults with complex mental health presentations
