Consultant Radiologist

We are seeking an experienced Consultant Radiologist with a special interest in musculoskeletal imaging and image‑guided procedures to join our imaging service in Brighton, Sussex. You will support a busy orthopaedic, sports‑medicine and pain service, including arthrograms and ultrasound‑guided injections.

Key responsibilities

• Perform and report diagnostic and therapeutic arthrograms (hip, shoulder, knee, ankle, wrist) .
• Deliver fluoroscopic or CT‑guided joint and peri‑articular injections and aspirations.
• Provide and report MSK and general imaging (MRI/CT/ultrasound) for elective, trauma and sports‑medicine pathways.
• Attend relevant MDTs (orthopaedics, sports medicine, rheumatology, pain) to advise on imaging and procedural planning.
• Participate in acute and on‑call radiology duties consistent with consultant‑level responsibilities.
• Supervise and mentor junior radiologists and radiographers in arthrographic and US‑guided techniques.
• Lead or contribute to audit, quality‑improvement and service‑development projects in the MSK/US‑guided portfolio.
