Consultant Radiologist

A Consultant Radiologist with a clear interest in ultrasound‑guided interventions (USGIs) is sought to join an imaging service in Greenwich, London. The role focuses on delivering a high‑quality, patient‑focused US‑guided procedures service for musculoskeletal and pain‑related conditions across the site.

Key responsibilities

• Perform and report ultrasound‑guided injections, aspirations etc
• Provide and interpret diagnostic MSK and general ultrasound studies across the department.
• Collaborate with orthopaedics, rheumatology, pain and sports‑medicine teams to design and refine US‑guided intervention pathways.
• Help establish and maintain standardised protocols and safety measures
• Supervise and guide junior radiologists and radiographers in ultrasound technique and interventional practice.
• Participate in routine and on‑call radiology services at consultant level, including acute and emergency imaging commitments.
• Contribute to clinical audit, governance and service‑development work within the imaging department.
