Consultant Radiologist (Arthrograms)

An imaging service in Basingstoke is seeking a Consultant Radiologist with a strong interest in musculoskeletal imaging and arthrograms. The role involves delivering a dedicated arthrograms and joint‑injection service for hip, shoulder, knee, ankle and wrist, working closely with orthopaedic and sports‑medicine teams. The post is well‑remunerated, with a daily rate of £1,200–£1,500 (DOE) and potential for weekly or block‑session work.

Key aspects of the role include:

• Performing and reporting diagnostic and therapeutic arthrograms across major joints.
• Carrying out fluoroscopic and CT‑guided joint and peri‑articular injections and aspirations.
• Providing and reporting MSK and general imaging (MRI/CT/ultrasound) to support elective, trauma and sports‑medicine pathways.
• Supporting orthopaedics, sports medicine, rheumatology and pain teams in procedural and imaging planning.
• Participating in routine and on‑call radiology duties at a consultant level.
